Executive Steering Committee

The Executive Steering Committee provides high-level oversight and ensures the campus plan aligns with the University’s strategic goals. The committee is charged with evaluating and approving budgets, timelines, resource allocation, major milestones, and deliverables, while addressing any potential risks.

Advisory Group

The Advisory Group is large, with nearly 75 members, and comprised of stakeholders representing divisions and departments across the entire University. The Advisory Group meets during Bicentennial Space Plan Workshops (typically 1-2 per semester) to hear updates on broad topics and provide feedback to the Project Team. The Advisory Group is charged with sharing updates with their units to help keep the campus community informed.


Working Groups

Working Groups are small, specialized groups of 8-15 individuals that provide targeted feedback and input primarily on their specific group subject. Working Groups also help determine which individuals to include in each listening session within their topic and filter feedback from those listening sessions. Working Groups meet during Bicentennial Space Plan Workshops (typically 1-2 per semester) however, some groups may meet more often than others.


Listening Groups

The Listening Groups are identified by the Working Groups. Working Groups are empowered to determine which campus groups and constituents should be have an opportunity to participate in a listening session within their topic. Listening session feedback is filtered through the Working Groups.


Project Team

The Project Team is a small group of individuals responsible for coordinating the planning process, managing logistics, and ensuring progress on the plan. This team collects data and information necessary for the planning process, reviews drafts and materials produced by the consultant team, provides feedback, and ensures accuracy.
